WLC, through the Take Back Your Home Coalition, has been advocating for Prince George’s County’s Foreclosure Task Force to include more concrete measures in its proposal for addressing foreclosures in Prince George’s County. On July 29, 2013, the Take Back Your Home Coalition sent a sign-on letter to the Foreclosure Task Force on behalf of sixteen housing counseling, legal services, and community organizations advocating for Prince George’s County to allocate a greater share of its resources for addressing foreclosures locally to homeowners currently in and at risk of foreclosure as opposed to first-time homebuyers.
