Committee Executive Director Jonathan Smith Participates in a Discussion of “Anti-Muslim Bullying: Emerging Issues and Pro Bono Opportunities”

On October 27, the Capital Area Muslim Bar Association and the American Bar Association Section for Civil Rights and Social Justice Bullyproof Committee held a panel addressing student bullying, with a particular focus on the impact of harassment, bullying, and discrimination on Muslim youth. In addition to discussing the legal trends and devastating consequences, attorneys will learn about pro bono opportunities that are available to advocate on behalf of students who are facing bullying, discrimination, and harassment at school.
