In September 2024 Xiaoli (“Lily”) Wu joined the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs (“WLC”) as an extern from Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP. As a Willkie associate, Lily focuses her practice on general commercial litigation and investigations and enforcement. During her time at the firm, she has also made meaningful contributions to pro bono work including assisting asylum seekers with obtaining legal status and working to combat workplace gender discrimination.
At George Washington University Law School, Lily gained valuable experience by participating in a landlord-tenant clinic where she provided legal assistance to tenants facing eviction in Housing Court, helping them navigate complex housing disputes and ensuring they had access to fair representation.
