Michael Chyobotov joined the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs in July 2025. As a Workers’ Rights Advocate, he coordinates workers’ rights clinics between volunteers and those seeking solutions to workplace problems.
Mr. Chyobotov graduated from Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Public Policy and Music. Prior to joining the Committee, he worked roles as a Research Assistant for the Vanderbilt Laboratory for the Department of Climate and Environmental Sciences, as an Outreach Worker for refugee youth through the Vanderbilt Nursing School, and as a Government Relations Intern for the San Antonio Water System.
Mr. Chyobotov is also fluent in Spanish.
