Joselyn Machado joined the Washington Lawyers’ Committee in January 2022. As a bilingual paralegal, she focuses on supporting the committee’s employment justice area. Part of this entails helping with our Workers’ Rights Clinic, which provides free legal advice to workers who have been treated unfairly by their employers.

Ms. Machado graduated from the University of Maryland in 2022 with a BS in Government and Politics and a minor in Rhetoric. Throughout her college career, she was involved in various organizations such as the University Student Judiciary and Pre-Law Society. Before joining the committee, she was an intern at the Maryland General Assembly and at a federally funded University of Maryland research project known as the Together Program.
