Chas Lopez joined the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights & Urban Affairs as the Chief Operating Officer in January 2022. His portfolio includes administration, facilities, finance, information technology, and human resources. Chas has a proven record of accomplishment designing, evaluating and improving operational processes in mission-driven organizations. His prior executive leadership includes strategic planning, business and operational transformation; inclusion, diversity, equity and accessibility; advocacy; risk and emergency management; and employee and leadership development. Chas strives to be a leader who makes people feel seen, heard and appreciated.
