Perry Redd

Worker's Rights Advocate

Perry Redd joined the Washington Lawyers' Committee in April 2017 as a Worker's Right Advocate following the merger of the Committee and the DC Employment Justice Center (EJC). He works to secure, protect and promote workplace justice in the DC metropolitan area.

Mr. Redd has a passion for serving the under-served and under-employed communities of his native Washington, DC. He is a community organizer who began his organizing career under the “right-to-work” hostilities of Tennessee in the 1990’s, co-founding the 501(c)(3) workers rights advocacy, Sincere Seven.

Mr. Redd graduated from the famed Midwest Academy (Chicago, Illinois) to formalize his social activist instincts and moved on to successfully undertake Living Wage, Anti-Police Brutality and community empowerment campaigns.
